VisionKnowledge has never been distributed equally. In every modern society, access to high-quality education is determined less by the learner than by geography, economic status, and political circumstance. This inequality is not incidental; it is the product of systems that hierarchize knowledge, concentrate its validation, and treat it as a scarce resource.
Where knowledge is unequally distributed, asymmetries form between individuals, societies, and states. Those without access to information are more easily manipulated. Those without the language to describe complex phenomena cannot participate in decisions that affect them. Information asymmetry is not only an educational concern; it is a structural condition that correlates with conflict.
What is needed is a system in which knowledge is evaluated for what it is, not for the institutional path through which it was obtained. Such a system cannot be provided by any single institution, because the problem is precisely that institutions validate themselves. A decentralized protocol offers a way forward: a neutral infrastructure in which verified learning, from any source, is recognized on equal terms.
What is proposed here is not an educational platform. It is a protocol — a set of rules for how learning is recorded, verified, and recognized — on which institutions, learners, and verifiers can coordinate without trusting a central authority.
